Current Issue
Hasanuddin Economics and Business Review (HEBR) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Our primary objective is to publish original, rigorous empirical research that contributes significantly to the understanding of economic and business issues, with a strong emphasis on the Indonesian context and its relevance to other developing economies. HEBR welcomes contributions from academicians, corporate executives, staff members of research institutions, international organisations, and government officials worldwide. The journal accepts high-quality empirical papers employing any relevant methodological approach, provided the research fits one of three core disciplines: macro- and microeconomics, finance, or economic policy. While we maintain an international perspective and welcome global comparisons, we particularly encourage submissions that explore phenomena in, or offer direct implications for, Indonesia and similarly positioned developing nations. Research topics should engage with the unique challenges, opportunities, and dynamics of these settings, thereby contributing to both local scholarly discourse and broader global knowledge.
This issue has been available online since May 20, 2026 for the regular issue of June 2026. All articles in this issue (7 Research Articles) were authored/co-authored by 24 authors from 4 countries (Indonesia, Taiwan, Australia, and Thailand).
