Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

IJESCA is focusing on publishing articles in the area of engineering and science application. This includes Civil Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, Architecture, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Transportation Systems. Topics which are not directly connected or related to one or more listed aspects can be published after careful consideration by the editors.

Peer Review Process

The main aim of the journal is to publish original research results in wide range of engineering and science application. However, book review, short notes, commentaries, or other forms of discussions can also be considered for publication.

International Journal of Engineering and Science Applications (IJEScA) is a journal published by Graduate School, Hasanuddin University two times a year in May and November

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics

Author should include and sign a paper mentioning that submitted article is original has not been submitted for publication elsewhere nor has been published previously (see the sample of Copyright and originality declaration). Author is also responsible for obtaining permission from other copyright holder if the author intends to reproduce any figures with copyright.

Sample of Copyright and Originality Declaration

  1. I Declare that this paper…… (title of paper)….. is original and has not been published previously nor under consideration to be published elsewhere and that any necessary permission to quote from another source has been obtained.
  2. With the publication, I transfer the copyright to IJEScA. This copyright transfer shall cover the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprint, photographic reproduction of similar nature and translation. It shall also include the right to adapt the article for use in conjunction with computer system and programs including reproduction or publication in machine-readable from and incorporation in retrieval system.
