PERSEPSI TERHADAP ALAT KONTRASEPSI DENGAN KEPUTUSAN PENGGUNAAN MKJP DAN NON MKJP

Abstract


The low use of LTCM (Long Term Contraception Method) is a problem in the Family Planning Program (KB). The acceptor's perception of the contraception influences the chosen contraceptive method. Improper perceptions of acceptors regarding LTCM has caused an incompatibility of acceptors choosing their contraceptive methods. This research use a cross sectional method that analyse a secondary data from the 2016 ICMM using an independent T test. This research aims to analyse the correlation between the women’s perception of the contraceptive method with their choice of LTCM and non LTCM. The sample of this research are 9100 fertile age women (FW) ranging from 15 – 49 years old whom are using contraception in the West Nusa Tenggara Province. The results of this research show there are significant correlation between the LTCM and non LTCM perception, the tools’ effectiveness characteristics on the decision of LTCM usage with p-value < 0,05.
