[ Abstract ]

Human Gastrointestinal tract is the most active organ in the body. The study aims to identify the differences in microbiomes DNA of digestive tract between a breast – fed baby with natural birth and the one with similar birth fed with formula milkfi plus breast milk in the maternity hospital of RSIA St. Khadijah I Makassar. The study was designed in cross – sectional type. The sample was taken with purposive sampling technique. The sample are 30 4 months old babies with normal delivery divide into 2 group : Fifteen babies to be given breast milk and other fifteento be given breast milk and formula milk. Their feces was taken with swab technique, then extracted with universal primer 16s rRNA with a methode of polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) followed by sequencing. The study was performed in 3 months. The data were analyzed with statistical means MEGA 5 and BLAST. The study indicates there differences in Microbiomes DNA between the group fed with breast milk and the one with combination of breast milk and formula milk the group that consumed breastmilk there are Bifido genus, Lactobacillus, and shigella while in other group there are Shigella genus, Escherichia, and  Enterobacteriacae.

[ Abstrak ]

Saluran pencernaan manusia adalah organ metabolisme paling aktif dalam tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi perbedaan DNA mikrobiom saluran pencernaan bayi dengan persalinan normal yang diberi ASI dan susu formula di RSIA Siti Khadijah I Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Pengembalian sampel digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah bayi dengan persalinan normal berusia 4 bulan sebanyak 30 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yakni bayi yang diberi ASI dan kombinasi (ASI + Susu formula) masing – masing 15 orang. Feses diambil dari subjek penelitian dengan teknik swab kemudian diekstrak menggunakan primer 16s rRNA universal dengan metode Polymerase Chain Reaction, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sequencing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Analisis data digunakan uji statistik MEGA 5 dan BLAST. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan DNA mikrobiom saluran pencernaan bayi dengan persalinan normal yang diberi ASI dan kombinasi (ASI + Susu formula) pada kelompok bayi yang mengkonsumsi ASI terdapat Genus Bifido, Lactobacillus, dan Shigella, sedangkan pada kelompok kombinasi (ASI + susu formula) terdapat Genus, Shigella, Escherichia dan Enterobacteriacae.
